L’Oule

L’Oule — “the cooking pot” in Provençal — lives up to its name: the calanque is shaped like a cauldron.
On stormy days the water inside seems to boil, and its sheer, circular walls complete the kitchen scene.
As for the rock formation known as the “cathedral” of L’Oule, its columns bring to mind the pipes of a great organ.
